Salary: $2,304.86 - $2,504.86 /wk Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist and perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will operate and ensure quality assurance of imaging equipment, monitor patients, and support procedural teams in a hospital setting. Minimum Requirements: 2 years of Interventional Radiology technologist experience with references. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. VI certification or CVIR required by client. Graduate from an AMA-approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program. BLS certification. State radiologic technologist license for Colorado. Experience with GE imaging equipment and Meditech EMR preferred. Experience in IR suites and familiarity with neuro-related procedures, thrombectomy center experience preferred. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Unit: Interventional Radiology (IR) suites; work within an IR team supporting spine and neuro procedures. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: Days 0700-1730. Typical patient ratios: Estimated 1:1 to 3:1. Number of IR suites: 2 per facility. Equipment: GE imaging systems. EMR: Meditech. Location Highlights Explore Aurora, CO, with easy access to Denver and the Rocky Mountains. The city sits adjacent to Denver with a commute of about 20 minutes to downtown Denver and approximately 40-60 minutes to Rocky Mountain National Park. Aurora provides proximity to Cherry Creek State Park and the South Platte River for boating and fishing, and it is within 30-60 minutes of mountain trailheads for hiking and skiing. The area offers suburban neighborhoods such as Lone Tree and Highlands Ranch within a 20-40 minute drive, convenient regional transit via Denver International Airport about 30 minutes away, and a lifestyle fit for outdoor recreation and family living. Position Details and Unit Info The IR team operates day shift staffing with approximately four IR technologists and four to five RNs on days. Night coverage is provided via on-call staffing. Typical procedures include basic IR cases, neuro drains, complex procedures such as tumor ablation, vertebral augmentation (spine jack), thrombectomy support, and air sphere interventions. The team seeks candidates who communicate well, manage stressful situations, and work collaboratively.
