Salary: $3,576.59 - $3,776.59 /wk Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist and perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will operate and ensure quality assurance of imaging equipment, monitor patients during procedures, and assist the IR team with a variety of case types. Minimum Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) technologist experience. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required. Valid Wisconsin state radiologic technologist license in hand at time of application. BLS certification required. Experience with procedures such as nephrostomy tube placement, port placements, biopsies, peripheral angiograms with interventions, PE thrombectomies, embolizations, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, thoracentesis/paracentesis, and sonography during IR procedures. Ability to scrub and pan simultaneously during procedures. Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably with a community hospital or Level IV trauma environment. Preferred: familiarity with charting/coding for IR cases. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Shift name: Days. Shift schedule: Five 8-hour shifts, Days 0800-1600 (schedule made in 12-week increments). On-call requirement: Yes. One-week on-call rotation every 3 weeks, Monday 1600 to the following Monday 0700, 45-minute response time. Weekend rotation: Yes. Floating: Will float to CT to assist with procedures (will not operate CT equipment). Location Highlights This assignment is in Cudahy, WI, a short drive from Milwaukee with regional recreation and cultural options. Cudahy sits approximately 20 minutes south of downtown Milwaukee and is adjacent to Lake Michigan shoreline and South Shore Park. The area provides access to urban amenities in Milwaukee such as the Milwaukee Public Museum and Summerfest within a 20-30 minute drive, and outdoor options including Lakeshore State Park and the Oak Leaf Trail network within 15-25 minutes, offering a suburban, lakeside lifestyle. Nearby Kettle Moraine State Forest and Harrington Beach State Park are within approximately 40-50 minutes for hiking and outdoor recreation, supporting an active, adventurous weekend lifestyle. Transit options include regional highways and commuter routes into Milwaukee, making commutes of 20-35 minutes typical for those seeking urban entertainment, professional sports, or cultural events. Facility and Unit Information Unit composition: 1 IR suite and 1 minor procedure room. Average patients per day: Approximately 5-8. Beds at facility: 100. Level IV trauma center and a designated stroke center. Typical patient population: Older community hospital demographic. Technology/Equipment: GE fluoroscopy, ultrasound systems, Inari devices (vendor support), EPIC EMR, McKesson PACS, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing. Department support: Radiologists, Radiology PA for minor procedures, lead tech/lead RN, rapid response/code team, respiratory therapy. Orientation: 2-3 shifts of unit orientation. Scrubs: Provided.
