Salary: $2,304.86 - $2,504.86 /wk Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join a traveling team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role supporting invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. Operate advanced imaging systems and monitoring equipment to assist physicians and provide high quality procedural care in a hospital setting. What You'll Need: ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or equivalent imaging credential. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred. Candidates without RCIS may be considered if other requirements are met. Minimum 1-2 years of cath lab experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting. This client prefers candidates with prior procedural experience. BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred). Experience with Philips fluoroscopy systems, Mac Lab, CardioLab or similar EP monitoring systems preferred. Scrub and monitoring skills for invasive cardiac procedures required. Ability to perform and assist with LHC, RHC, EP ablations, pacer/ICD implants, cardioversions, TEEs, and tilt table tests preferred. Ability to take on-call responsibilities and be housable within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab as required by unit policy. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab / EP (procedural area with holding bays and suites). Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: Days 0700-1700. Typical patient ratio: approximately 3 staff to 1 patient in procedural area. Equipment: Philips fluoroscopy systems, Mac Lab, CardioLab for EP. EMR: Meditech. On-call: Rotating weekend on-call responsibilities required. Location Highlights Explore Aurora, CO and nearby outdoor and cultural attractions. Aurora is adjacent to Denver International Airport, about a 25-30 minute drive depending on traffic, and offers access to the Highline Canal Trail and Cherry Creek State Park within a 10-20 minute drive for outdoor recreation. The city is within 30-60 minutes of the foothills and popular ski areas such as Loveland and Arapahoe Basin, providing alpine recreation and mountain views. Aurora features Anschutz Medical Campus nearby, multiple shopping districts and diverse dining options, supporting a suburban lifestyle with easy access to urban amenities in downtown Denver. Transit options include regional RTD light rail and bus service connecting to Denver and surrounding suburbs, supporting commuting and weekend exploration. Additional Unit Information Unit size: Cath lab with 8 holding bays and 4 Cath/EP suites. Staffing: Approximately 16 staff on unit across shifts; high functioning team with engaged physicians and a strong structural heart program. Typical procedures: Left and right heart caths (LHC, RHC), EP ablations, pacer/ICD implants, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt table tests. Personality fit: Professional, engaged in high quality patient care, willing to take on-call duties and work collaboratively.
