Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a clinical team that values your skills while working in Sanford, FL. You will assist physicians and cath lab staff in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate advanced imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment, and contribute to high quality patient care. What You'll Need: ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or RCIS preferred. RCIS (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification from CCI preferred. If not RCIS, ARRT technologist acceptable; RCIS or ARRT required within 3 years per facility policy. Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting preferred. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. Ability to perform advanced skills for EP circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring; demonstrated competence in at least two advanced skills preferred. Experience with Cath/EP lab equipment such as GE fluoroscopy systems, MAC Lab, Acist, Volcano, IVUS, AngioJet, and Penumbra preferred. Familiarity with documentation systems such as MAC Lab and MediTech preferred. State licensure as required for role. Minimum Requirements / Client-Specific Requirements: Certifications required: BLS and ACLS. One of the following certification paths required: ARRT or RCIS. If hired as a non-ARRT technologist, RCIS or ARRT must be obtained within 3 years. Clinical experience in Cath Lab procedures including PCI, TAVR, Watchman, peripheral interventions, Impella, and balloon pump recommended. Experience working in hospital Cath/EP lab environment with patient ratios typically 1:1 or 2:1. Ability to float to holding area, EP lab, or other areas within scope of practice as needed. Ability to work variable cath lab scheduling including 4x10 or 5x8 hour day schedules and participate in late-stay on-call rotations as required by unit scheduling. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital Cath/EP Lab. Shift Name: Days. Shift Hours: 07:00-16:30. Scheduling: Cath lab scheduling may include 4x10 or 5x8 day schedules with late stays and on-call rotation. Floating: May be required to float to holding area, EP lab, or other areas within scope of practice. About the Unit and Facility Unit: Cath/EP Lab with 2 cath rooms and 1 EP room plus a holding area. Patient ratios typically 1:1 or 2:1 depending on case complexity. Documentation systems include MAC Lab and MediTech. Team composition includes RNs and Cath Lab Techs working under unit leadership and charge RN oversight.
