Support physicians and Cath Lab staff in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures while operating advanced imaging and hemodynamic equipment. What You'll Need: ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS). RCIS or ARRT required as noted in minimum qualifications below. BLS certification required. Experience with Cath Lab procedures including LHC, RHC, emergent revascularization, peripheral diagnostic/interventional cases, device procedures, cardioversion, TEE, pericardiocentesis, and temporary pacemaker management preferred. Experience using EPIC charting system preferred. Minimum Requirements: RCIS certification from CCI or ARRT certification. If ARRT credentialed, candidate must be registered with NDMIRT and hold an active North Dakota Radiologic Technologist license to perform fluoroscopy/panning responsibilities. If candidate is RCIS credentialed, ND Radiologic license is not required and RCIS clinicians are not required to pan/activate fluoroscopy. BLS certification required. Experience with Philips Xper (Hemo) and familiarity with Siemens C-Arm equipment preferred. Experience with vascular support devices and modalities preferred: IABP, Impella, Shockwave, Laser, IFR/FFR, IVUS, Rotapro, and 4-port manifold. Panning experience alone is acceptable; scrubbing experience preferred but not required. Ability to perform IV starts preferred. Orientation: approximately one week of unit/department specific orientation including classroom and lab, plus 12 orientation hours as noted by client. Radiation badge must be supplied and in hand prior to start. Must satisfy client-specific radius and employment restrictions: candidate may not be employed as full time, part time, or PRN with facilities associated with CommonSpirit (including CHI/Dignity) within a 50-mile radius. Profile review and manager interview required prior to hire. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Primary specialty: Cath Lab Tech. Shift name: Days. Shift details: Days 0700-1600 (typical schedule M-F 0730-1600 with call expectations per rotation). Call requirements: Weeknight call 1-2 nights per week (weeknight call hours approximately 1530-0700). Weekend call approximately every third weekend (24-hour weekend call from Friday to Monday morning). Holiday call approximately every other holiday. Team scheduling: Team lead manages schedule; assignments posted in advance for multi-week blocks. Case volume and environment: Three labs/suites, averaging about four cases per day. Common cases include diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral procedures and device cases. Float requirements: May assist in Heart and Vascular pre/post areas as needed (helping hands role). EMR/Equipment: EPIC charting and Philips Xper hemodynamic system are used. Response expectation: Call response time approximately 20 minutes. Orientation hours: 12 additional orientation hours required by client. Other client notes: Lead provided on shift. Bring personal lock for locker and hospital-designated shoes. Radiation badge required prior to start.
