*Job description*
We are looking for an Expanded Function Dental Assistant who loves working with kids, infancy to adolescence, to join our team. We are a pediatric dental practice in a large, bright, state-of-the-art facility looking to further grow our hygiene services. We are a team-centered office focused on providing high quality care in a fun, safe environment. We are looking for highly motivated, hard-working candidates with an attention to detail. Our office is all digital, so confidence in the use of digital charting and radiographs is necessary. Compensation is based on experience. *Responsibilities*
* Provide oral hygiene and diet instructions
* Perform coronal polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants
* Take radiographs
* Maintain accurate patient records
* Sterilize instruments according to OSHA/CDC regulations
* Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
*Requirements*
* Valid PA dental Expanded Function Dental Assistant
* In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations (including OSHA/CDC/HIPAA)
* Good computer skills
* Outstanding communication skills with children and adults
* Well-organized and reliable
* Must be able to pass a background check
* Proof of flu and COVID-19 vaccination within 90 days of start
