Currently, GDIT is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Field Technician IV to join our team in an OCONUS location.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
Support of mission-critical communications systems in operational or deployed environments.
Experience with Motorola trunked radio systems (architecture, configuration, sustainment)
Hands-on experience with POST radio programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Strong IT systems support experience for secure and distributed networks
Ability to perform maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and sustainment on communications infrastructure
Experience with COMSEC handling, procedures, and compliance
Proven troubleshooting and incident response for complex system outages
Ability to perform tower work at elevations exceeding 100 feet
Experience operating in austere or high risk environments
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your technical field expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Field Technician IV must have:
COMSEC background (1-5yrs experience handling)
P25 Radio background supporting VHF/UHF/700/800 band (Kenwood, Motorola, Harris)
Tactical comm's background (Harris Type 1 encrypted radios)
Tower climber certification (Willing to obtain a certification within 6 months of employment)
Motorola trunked system background (1-3years maintain/programming)
IT Network background (1-3years experience)
Education: Associates of Arts/Associates of Science
Security clearance level: Secret, eligible to Top Secret
US citizenship required

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $45.36 - $61.36. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
