Manufacturing Operations Manager - 2304 Century Center Blvd. Irving, TX 75062

The Production Manager is responsible for the Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity for our high‑speed, high‑volume manufacturing department. This includes organizing and directing manufacturing activities across shifts, providing leadership and facilitation of Production Supervisors and Teams in close coordination with Maintenance, Quality, Planning, and Warehousing to achieve operational goals.

Location: This position is located at our Irving, TX plant.

Position Responsibilities

Establish a proactive safety culture of zero incidents while promoting and ensuring the completion of safety trainings and programs.

Direct all departmental related activities to ensure the timely execution of the production schedule to meet production and service goals.

Work with the financial counterpart to understand the portion of productivity built into the AOP and ensure consistent alignment between AOP and Planview.

Manage departmental quality requirements to ensure food safety and product quality.

Create the basis for continuous improvement and employee empowerment by ensuring that standardized work and processes are followed, needed adjustments are implemented, and the area complies with safety and 5‑S requirements. Develop a plan to progress the TPM program based on the KDP playbook.

Determine optimum staffing model for line operations and provide effective cross‑training and development for a flexible workforce.

Promote team engagement and morale, adhering to KDP values. Generate enthusiasm, commitment, and performance to develop high‑performance teams.

Maintain a track record of successful continuous improvement initiatives focusing on lean manufacturing and 5‑S. Lead and support Focused Improvement events to meet or exceed expected OEE.

Communicate goals and objectives, apply company policy, coach and administer discipline, and ensure positive employee relations. Build bench strength through active development of direct reports.

Total Rewards

Salary Range: $96,800 - $120,000

Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred; technical degrees (Engineering/Technology) preferred. Others considered with relevant experience.

5 years of experience in a management/supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with lean, Kaizen/Six Sigma events and driving lean transformation with proven results in a manufacturing environment (5S, Autonomous Maintenance, Visual Factory Management, and leading Kaizen events).

Computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and the ability to understand basic statistics.

Demonstrated work experience in team building and development.

Self‑starter, able to work with minimal supervision.

Strong time‑management skills.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Able to handle multiple and conflicting priorities.
