Overview
HOLT CAT in Irving, Texas is looking for a Parts Warehouse Clerk 1. This position is responsible for responding to customers' needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner while demonstrating a sense of urgency. Must also provide prompt, accurate, and efficient processing of all parts transactions and related warehouse activities. This requires working independently, with specific direction or as a member of a team. Location: 2000 E. Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75062. Day shift only. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Must have a valid driver license.

Essential Functions
Models, promotes, and reinforces the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
Adheres to contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations
Maintains all company equipment, warehouse environment, tools, and work areas in a good, clean, and working order
Completes all parts order pulling transactions for external and internal customers in an accurate, timely and supportive manner to ensure customer satisfaction
Completes all stock replenishment tasks in an accurate, timely and supportive manner to ensure proper inventory status in parts warehouse
To be monitored by management observation and stock order analysis reports, as well as daily and year end physical inventories
Maintains parts operations office, warehouse, and outside yards, so that they are neat and orderly as assessed by the department manager
Develops sales and inventory skills by completing internal training programs as determined by performance review goal setting guide for self-improvement and achievement of other KRA’s
Completes internal parts orders and identifies parts for return; communicates job status to supervisor as needed
Learns how to place 3rd party orders through the CODA system and how to receive orders through the CODA system
Performs housekeeping duties while adhering to contamination control guidelines
Works overtime as required by workload
Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to meet all requirements as outlined in the Parts Warehouse Position Designation Guidelines to include order pulling, job related software, forklift operation, hydraulic hose building, ladder JSA, battery JSA, prime mover JSA, will counter operations, and all applicable policies and procedures
General knowledge of equipment and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
Knowledge and proficiency with current computer software and related hardware
Operation and control skills of equipment or systems
Equipment selection skills by determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job
Ability to follow logical troubleshooting procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and equipment used in mechanical repair including an overhead crane
Ability to operate a conventional forklift
Ability to operate the controls of a machine or a vehicle quickly and repeatedly to exact positions
Ability to be self-starting and self-motivated
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to read, write, and understand information
Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
Requirements
Education and Experience:
Up to two years of warehouse experience
Must be able to use a scanning device to look up inventory
Must be able to read and interpret OEM specifications
Must complete HOLT VBL and DiSC training
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Travel
Up to 10% travel may be required and may require overnight stays
Ability to travel between stores within region for special projects and/or company needs

Ascends/descends with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet and climbs up and down ladders and/or equipment
Work Environment
Regularly works indoors around moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity
Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, dust, steam, high-pressure water, and high-speed rotating equipment
Works in extremely bright or inadequate lighting
Exposure to high noise levels and body vibration
Works in an enclosed and open vehicle or equipment
Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment
Exposure to minor burns, cuts, bites, or stings
