Description
The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for administrative tasks for engaging suppliers, data gathering, user support for the purchasing system and related processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. In addition, this position develops, maintains, and interacts with a variety of departments, levels, and external suppliers.

Essential Functions
Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
Provides support to purchasing system users
Supports the Procurement Dept. with administrative tasks and projects
Collects and compiles information, following up with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Performs purchase order maintenance, general maintenance, and action associated with managing the Procurement email box
Maintains supplier web access and other support, as needed.
Collects documentation and supports the process for vetting suppliers
Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with multiple departments and various levels of the organization
Self-starter and the ability to work independently
Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Requirements
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
One or more years of professional experience in Procurement or related field preferred
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Travel:
None
Physical Requirements
This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.
This role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
Must be able to move objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
Occasionally moves materials or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
Work Environment
This job is generally performed in a professional office environment, in environmentally controlled conditions
Frequently works at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
