Business Development Manager - Energy Solutions - Fenton, MO

Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, data center and utility markets.
Develop go-to-market strategies for generators, switchgear, renewables, battery storage, and DERMS.
Enable Machine, Power (including Power Rental), and services businesses by using connectivity to unlock new commercial and service value streams.
Build and manage a sales pipeline aligned with growth objectives.
Lead customer and partner engagement with technical credibility.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Engage utilities and grid operators on capacity, demand response, and grid services.
Track regulatory, incentive, and market developments.
Build and strengthen relationships with Key Accounts and Vendors.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or related field required)
Advanced degree preferred.
Experience 5+ years in energy business development or related roles
Background in diesel and gas generation, renewables, battery storage, utility markets, or DERMSSkills
Strong technical and commercial acumen
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strategic and analytical mindset
Ability to manage complex energy projects
Physical Demands & Work Environment Primary work is performed in an office or service facility environment with frequent communication by phone and computer.
Tasks involve sitting for extended periods, using hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone, and reaching with arms.
Occasional standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching and kneeling may be required, especially when verifying equipment status in the yard or assisting with parts logistics.
Employees are regularly required to talk and hear to communicate with technicians and customers; specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally and safely handle heavier loads up to 50 pounds with assistance when necessary.
Work may occasionally involve exposure to a warehouse or outdoor environment with moderate noise and varying weather conditions; appropriate PPE should be used as required.
