Overview
AVL Maroc SARL AU is looking for Design Engineers with strong mechanical engineering skills to join an international team across multiple product lines including Powertrain (PWT), E-Machines, Batteries, and Internal Combustion Engines (ICE).
Responsibilities
Develop 2D and 3D mechanical designs using industry-standard CAD tools (CATIA, Creo, NX).
Create and update detailed drawings following ISO standards, geometric tolerancing, and dimension chains.
Participate in conceptual design, proposing technically sound and innovative solutions.
Perform design feasibility checks, tolerance analysis, and suggest improvements.
Support product development activities for PWT components, E-Machines, Batteries, and ICE systems.
Ensure compliance with internal design standards, quality requirements, and project deadlines.
Prepare and present technical documentation and design reviews in English.
Contribute to continuous improvement of design methodologies and technical knowledge.
Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Practical experience in the design of powertrain systems.
Proficiency in at least one 3D CAD system (NX, CATIA, and/or Creo).
Familiarity with PLM tools (Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia).
Strong knowledge of ISO standards, GD&T, and dimension/tolerance chain analysis.
Experience in intercultural teamwork and strong communication skills.
