Job Overview
The Audio Visual (AV) Assistant will support on-campus technical operations related to audio-visual equipment and presentations. This role involves assisting users, ensuring smooth AV setup and troubleshooting basic technical issues while delivering excellent customer service.
Work Schedule
Candidates must be able to commit to one of the following fixed shifts:
Shift Option 1
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (7 hours)
Shift Option 2
2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (7 hours)
Key Responsibilities
Provide support for audio-visual equipment setup and operation
Assist faculty, staff, and students with presentation and AV needs
Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to AV systems
Ensure meeting rooms and classrooms are properly equipped and functional
Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams when required
Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism
Qualifications & Skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems
Familiarity with office and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Zoom, etc.)
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn new technologies
No prior AV experience required – training will be provided
