**Overview**
The Student Assistant in the JT Vaughan Large Animal Teaching Hospital is responsible for assisting with patient care in the equine section.
**Responsibilities**
**The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:**
+ Setting up for emergencies
+ Assisting with hourly walk-by's
+ Administering medications
+ Performing physical exams
+ Hanging IV fluids
+ Maintaining cleanliness of the hospital
+ Restocking supplies
