Overview

Senior System Administrator based in Marlborough, MA, internally known as Senior Analyst, Information Workplace Services. The role collaborates and supports programs with classified information system capabilities. Success in this role means developing, implementing, and maintaining secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs. Program teams rely on collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems.
Responsibilities

Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
Understand and apply Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment; troubleshoot to resolve moderate to high scope technical problems including hardware/OS integrations.
Collaborate with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.
Obtain DoDD 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months of start date.
Systems are operational 24x7 and may require work outside standard hours; travel up to 10% per year to other US Domestic locations.
Full-time onsite position.
Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Experience with scripting.
Experience with helpdesk operations, ticket troubleshooting and resolution.
Experience with audit logs collection.
Experience with system hardening.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience serving as a technical SME or primary point of contact for patching, vulnerability remediation, or compliance initiatives.
Experience with VMware virtualization technologies (ESXi, vCenter, VM lifecycle management, host upgrades).
Experience with securing system configurations, system hardening, STIG/EVAL STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation, and compliance.
Experience with MECM/SCCM, PXE boot services, OS imaging, and automated software deployment frameworks.
Experience with enterprise Windows services, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity integration.
Familiarity with cybersecurity and compliance tooling such as ACAS, SCAP, Splunk, STIG Viewer, and audit support processes.

Salary range: 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, 401(k) match, and other programs. Specific benefits depend on business unit and bargaining agreements. Short-term and long-term incentive programs may apply depending on level and plan.
