Job Summary
Tax Accountant. Small growing public accounting firm offering a hybrid model.
Responsibilities
Strong general ledger, financial statement preparation, and tax knowledge with K1 partnership structures.
Prepare tax provisions and review quarterly tax entries.
Work with income tax audits and federal and state tax compliance.
Prepare tax-related journal entries and corresponding general ledger reconciliations.
Develop expertise in accounting policies, practices, tax forecasting, and FAS 109.
Prepare financial statements, month-end close, journal entries, and tax savings for individuals, high net‑worth individuals, S-Corps, C-Corps, and partnerships.
Qualifications
Experience in partnership, K1, federal, state, and local tax compliance.
Solid knowledge of general ledger and financial statement preparation.
