Appliance Delivery Assistant

Town and Country TV and Appliance is seeking a skilled and reliable delivery assistant. This position will be working with the Appliance Delivery Lead to deliver and install appliances in the Richland Center and Reedsburg markets. This position will be located in Richland Center as all products are centrally managed at this location.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare & deliver appliances according to the upcoming schedule to both residential and business settings.
Learn how to execute all functions of installation for various appliances.
Required Skills/Abilities
This is a physically demanding position. Must be able to lift, cart and move appliances in the warehouse and deliver to tight spots in residential settings.
Good communication and listening skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
Conflict resolution ability when things don’t go as planned.
Attention to detail on deliveries, taking great care of our customers’ homes and protecting them from damage.
Ability to use a mobile device to conduct business and manage schedules.
Growth opportunities are available to the right candidate to move into a lead position as business grows.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Relevant work experience in similar role is expected and will be a part of your consideration.
As you will be using company vehicles, a good driving record is required.
Physical Requirements
Moving appliances that can be up to 300/lbs on a routine basis.
Through much of your day you will be depending on physical activity to complete your job.
Movement of boxes, crates, or other containers of parts on a regular basis.
Movement of appliances may require additional physical effort on occasion.
Work Schedule
A 5-day a week work schedule will be required.
Work hours are Monday-Friday 8AM to 5PM, which is variable daily based on work remaining to complete scheduled work.
Be able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate current needs.
Additional hours may be required and paid accordingly as per the U.S Department of Labor.
Will not include evenings or holiday’s unless mutual agreement is found, only in limited or emergency circumstances.
