Position: HR Generalist reports to the Director of Employee Experience. This is a Full-Time, Exempt role with typical working hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. May require extended hours including holidays and weekends due to the nature of ESCO’s client support model. Occasional travel to other ESCO offices or client sites may be required but generally does not exceed 10%.

Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR policies, processes, and general inquiries.
Support the resolution of employee concerns to maintain a positive employee experience.
Contribute to a positive, responsive, and consistent employee experience across the organization.
Maintain accurate employee records and manage data within HRIS; support HRIS updates, reporting, and documentation management.
Assist with onboarding and offboarding coordination; ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and required documentation.
Assist with benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and employee communications; support open enrollment processes and vendor coordination as needed.
Help address employee questions related to benefits and escalate complex issues; assist with event planning and coordination as needed.
Support documentation and tracking of employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions and terminations; assist managers with employee relations situations and ensure proper documentation.
Provide employment verifications for current and former employees; support unemployment activities, including claims, audits, and quarterly filings as needed.
Support recruiting efforts including scheduling, coordination of interviews, and candidate communication; participate in career fairs, onboarding activities, and other talent-related initiatives as needed.
Assist with employee surveys and engagement initiatives, including data collection and analysis; identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and employee experience; support updates to policies, job descriptions, and employee communications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective HR operations across the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
Strong communication and coordination skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Experience with HRIS systems is preferred.
Desirable Skills & Abilities
Detail-oriented and process-driven; proactive problem-solving.
Experience in HR operations, benefits, or employee relations.
Exposure to HRIS systems; highly organized and dependable.
