
Benefits Coordinator

Overview
We’re hiring a Benefits Coordinator to support the day-to-day administration of our employee benefits programs and serve as a helpful, reliable resource for employees. You’ll handle enrollments, updates, and ensure everything stays accurate and organized behind the scenes. Benefits can be confusing, and you’ll help explain deductibles, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket maximums to employees clearly. This role is designated as hybrid. Initial training and onboarding will take place on-site in our Post Falls, ID office; after approximately 30 days, you may work remotely up to two days per week, depending on team needs and performance.
Wage
$28-30/hour

Annual review with raise option
22 days Paid Time Off accrued annually, and 4 holidays
After 3 years, PTO increases to 29 days. Employees transition to flexible time off after 5 years with the company
The 4 holidays are: New Year’s Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
Paid Parental Leave

Responsibilities
Respond to employee questions about benefits and leave of absence in a clear, helpful manner
Process enrollments, qualifying life events, and benefit changes accurately
Support open enrollment from start to finish
Work with vendors and insurance carriers to resolve issues
Maintain clean, organized, and accurate records
Help ensure compliance with benefits-related regulations
Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Identify issues and fix them before they become bigger problems
Requirements
1+ years supporting employee benefits administration (enrollments, changes, employee support) or experience in claims, member services, or benefits support at an insurance company or broker
Exposure to open enrollment, qualifying life events, or leave of absence processes
Experience working in an HRIS or benefits administration system
Understanding of how medical, dental, and vision plans work
Experience reviewing, processing, or explaining claims or coverage
Customer service mindset
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
