Job Description
We are hiring an experienced Industrial Mechanic / Maintenance Mechanic for a full-time shop and field service role in Dover, NJ (07801). This is a hands‑on position focused on industrial machinery repair, hydraulic systems, welding, and equipment rebuilding.
Pay:
$30.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery
Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic system issues
Rebuild, assemble, and install machine components and parts
Conduct inspections to ensure equipment efficiency and safety
Perform field service visits at customer sites as needed
Collaborate with team members on repair and fabrication projects
Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic / Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright
Strong hydraulic system troubleshooting and assembly experience (required)
TIG and fusion welding experience (required)
Machine rebuilding experience (gearboxes, shafts, motors, bearings, seals)
Ability to perform steel grinding and polishing (stainless & carbon steel)
Basic electrical knowledge (motors and switches)
Experience with machining and mechanical fabrication
Valid driver's license (required for field service work)
