Heavy Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Overnights)
Compensation : $35–$37 per hour, $5,000 sign‑on bonus, and monthly bonus; includes full benefits.
About the Role
As a Permanent Maintenance Mechanic you will keep production operations running smoothly through routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installation of industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on various industrial equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, motors, and pumps.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively.
Repair or replace faulty mechanical components as needed.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery.
Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.
Document all performed maintenance and repair work for record‑keeping and analysis.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize maintenance procedures and minimize downtime.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Technician, or similar role in manufacturing.
Proven experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motors, pumps, and other industrial equipment.
Solid background in automotive or diesel mechanics.
Proficiency in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair.
Strong understanding of safety procedures and guidelines in a manufacturing setting.
Excellent problem‑solving skills with ability to diagnose and fix mechanical issues quickly.
Strong communication skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in industrial mechanics is a plus.
