Position Objective
Responsible for operating the shear machine.
Essential Duties
Oversee the shearing process which enhances the carpet’s finish.
Monitor the lint house for proper operation.
Monitor all accumulators and carpet guides.
Fill in as technician as needed.
Job Title

Education
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements
Frequently required to reach, handle, stand, and stoop.
Close vision and good hearing required.
Work in a normal industrial environment with inherent background noise, dirt, humidity, and temperature variations.
Must participate in group stretching prior to shift.
Other Requirements
Must be applicable to all JHA’s.
Work Shift
8‑hour non‑rotating shift, hours fall to out‑punch day, observed calendar, shift starts PM.
