Overview
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Bobcat and Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our recycling center team. This role requires strong equipment-handling skills, the ability to work safely in tight and narrow spaces, and previous outdoor/yard-work experience in a similar environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced recycling facility.
Key Responsibilities
Operate Bobcat and sit-down forklift equipment safely and efficiently.
Maneuver equipment in narrow and confined areas throughout the yard.
Load, move, and organize recyclable materials as directed.
Assist with general yard operations, including outdoor work in
all
weather conditions.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Perform additional tasks as needed to support daily operations.
Requirements
2–3 years of experience
operating Bobcat.
2–3 years of experience
operating a sit-down forklift (certified).
Ability to drive safely in narrow and tight spaces.
Previous outdoor or recycling center experience required.
Bilingual (English & Spanish)required.
Ability to work
45 hours per week , with
mandatory Saturdays.
Strong communication skills, reliability, and attention to safety.
Ability to work in a physically demanding, outdoor environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Must be able to pass a background and drug test.
Language
Spanish (Required).
English (Required).
Payrate
$20-$25 hourly (depends on experience).
Bi-weekly pay schedule.
