Role Overview
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and experienced Business Development Manager with a deep understanding of the Tech Startup Ecosystem. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT sales experience and knows how to navigate the fast‑paced world of Tech and startups.
Your primary mission will be to identify high‑potential tech startups in CA, TX, and NY, offering them the technical talent and consulting services they need to scale up their operations rapidly. You will act as a strategic partner to founders and CTOs, helping them move from MVP to mass‑market success.
Key Responsibilities
Target & Acquire: Proactively identify and engage early‑stage and growth‑stage tech startups that require external IT support to scale.
Scale‑Up Solutions: Consult with Startup Founders and CTOs to understand their roadmaps, offering services that solve their "growing pains" (e.g., rapid engineering staffing, product development support, or cloud migration).
Network with Enablers: Build relationships with Venture Capital firms, Angel Investors, and Incubators/Accelerators to generate referrals within their portfolio companies.
Create and manage a specialized sales funnel that accounts for the unique buying cycles of startups vs. traditional enterprises.
Execute a high‑volume outreach strategy to build a robust pipeline of new business.
Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
Demonstrate a strong awareness of how startups operate, including knowledge of funding rounds (Seed, Series A, B), burn rates, and agile development needs.
Provide tailored IT proposals that align with the budget constraints and scalability requirements of high‑growth companies.
Represent Sachhsoft at startup mixers, hackathons, and tech conferences in California, Texas, and New York.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of 5+ years of IT Sales or Business Development experience, with a specific focus or strong history of selling to Startups and SMBs.
Understanding of the startup lifecycle, the pressure of "scaling up," and the ability to speak the language of entrepreneurs and technical founders.
Proficiency in selling IT Staffing, Software Development, or Managed Services.
Proven ability to create and manage a sales funnel from scratch.
Excellent networking skills and "hunter" mentality.
Proficiency in CRM tools and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
