About the Opportunity
Our Client, a HNI Family Office valued at $20B+ in annual revenue, is undergoing a large-scale Finance & Accounting transformation. They are seeking a highly experienced Transformation Consultant to lead a critical initiative focused on modernizing and standardizing Travel & Expense (T&E) processes across the enterprise. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving the full lifecycle of a global transformation—from strategy and design through implementation and rollout.
What You’ll Do
Lead end-to-end transformation of global T&E and expense reporting processes
Develop and execute project roadmap, milestones, and cross-functional plans
Drive stakeholder alignment across Finance, Accounting, HR, IT, and Procurement
Lead change management, communications, and training strategies
Assess and consolidate disparate travel and expense policies into a unified global framework
Design standardized processes across:
Employee lifecycle (HRIS-linked)
Travel booking and approvals
Expense submission and audit workflows
Corporate card usage and reimbursements
Compliance monitoring and exception handling
Systems & Integration
Lead consolidation to a single global T&E platform (e.g., Concur or Navan)
Oversee integrations across:
HRIS (Workday)
ERP (Dynamics 365)
Travel and expense systems
Identity/access tools
Configure workflows, policies, reporting structures, and controls
Data, Reporting & Analytics
Design and manage cross-system data flows and governance
Build dashboards and reporting in Power BI
Establish scalable, automated reporting and compliance frameworks
Business Expansion & Migration
Lead onboarding of new business units and acquisitions into the standardized platform
Develop repeatable migration playbooks and data conversion strategies
What You Bring
Required Experience
15–20 years of experience leading financial systems or T&E transformations
Deep, hands-on expertise with Concur and/or Navan
Strong experience with:
Workday (HRIS)
Dynamics 365 (ERP)
Power BI (reporting & analytics)
Data mapping and system integrations
Proven success leading large-scale, global transformation initiatives
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Hands-on approach (configuration, testing, issue resolution)
Preferred
Global/multi-country T&E transformation experience
Background in consulting or systems integration
Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks
Success Measures
Implementation of a unified global T&E platform and policy framework
Seamless integration across HRIS, ERP, and expense systems
Delivery of automated reporting and Power BI dashboards
Successful onboarding of new business units into the platform
