$40–47/hr
Job Summary
We are seeking a Payroll Administrator with strong expertise in US payroll tax compliance and reporting. This role is responsible for managing payroll tax filings, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage payroll tax reporting, reconciliation, and approvals
Review and approve payroll tax funding and remittances
Handle tax filings including 941, 940, W2, W2C, and amendments
Ensure accurate employee tax setup across federal, state, and local jurisdictions
Maintain payroll tax data and generate reports as required
Support quarterly and year-end tax processes
Identify and resolve payroll tax discrepancies
Work with payroll systems such as SAP Payroll, ADP GlobalView, and UKG Pro
Ensure compliance with evolving payroll tax regulations
Support audits and provide required documentation
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
3–5 years of US payroll tax experience
Strong knowledge of payroll tax filings and compliance
Experience with payroll systems such as SAP, ADP GlobalView, UKG Pro, or Workday
Experience with multi-state payroll environments
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or advanced degree
Experience supporting financial reporting or audits
Key Skills
Payroll tax compliance and reporting
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
