JBS is seeking an hourly Receiving Inventory Warehouse Clerk 1st Shift! Position starts at $19.00 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Issue, receive, inventory & packaging in all storage locations in plant facility.
Unload trucks and stock items as they arrive – preparing outbound trucking paperwork.
Pull product from cooler, freezer & production floor.
Sort and count packages, labels, totes, etc for inventory to ensure accuracy.
Perform a physical count of inventory.
Restock items as necessary.
Inform purchasing agent of low-level inventories.
Clean and organize work areas.
Maintain locations for added stock, deleted stock, and increased stock.
Perform various other duties as needed or as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
Gather and organize orders prior to the start of the shift.
Other duties as required by management and supervision.
Observe & enforce all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that works effectively and cooperatively with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership teams.
Practice all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
Follow all Safe Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP’s).
Adhere to all safety regulations and practices.
Recognize and act on incidents and safety risks; consistently practice and enforce safe work habits and drive those habits throughout the organization.
Qualifications
Requires ability to lift, push, pull up to
50
lb.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English.
Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentage calculations.
Overtime may be required; may need to change/flex shifts for coverage. Cold conditions (temps -30 to 35+).
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
Ability to learn USDA and QU requirements in paperwork for different types of shipped products.
Must be able to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing.
Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft.
