Title: Communications Project Lead
Contract: W2
Length: 3-5months
Rate: $35-45/hr
Location: Remote

Job Description Summary:
The Project Lead, Communications supports a limited portfolio of key change, communications, and culture initiatives, with an anticipated commitment of 15-20 hours per week. This role coordinates cross‑functional workstreams, manages timelines and dependencies, and keeps teams aligned and accountable to deadlines. The work is primarily project‑based, remote, and focused on execution and follow‑up. With a strong emphasis on organization and stakeholder coordination, this role keeps work moving, surfaces risks to communications leaders, and ensures meetings are well managed. The ideal candidate brings experience coordinating enterprise projects and communications along with the ability to operate independently in a fast‑moving environment.
Responsibilities Across Initiatives
Project Management
Maintain project plans across workstreams
Track progress against milestones and adjust plans as priorities, timelines, and inputs change
Monitor deliverables across teams and follow up as needed to ensure on‑time delivery
Proactively identify and elevate risks, issues, or delays to maintain progress
Meeting & Stakeholder Management
Manage steering committee agendas, meeting material development, and follow‑ups
Document decisions and action items to ensure stakeholders remain aligned on expectations, timing, and next steps
Coordinate scheduling changes and logistics for steering committee, employee portal roadshow, working sessions, and other related meetings
Serve as a central point of coordination to reduce friction, clarify next steps, and keep stakeholders connected and informed
Communications Support
Support the planning and delivery of communications tied to key milestones, including employee portal training plans, pilot communications, and launch‑related promotions
Assist with drafting, reviewing, organizing, and delivering communications, such as training plans, pilot invitations, registration instructions, etc.
Ensure communications are aligned to project timelines, reviewed on schedule, and released on time
Skills & Abilities
Strong strategic project management and organizational skills
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Comfort coordinating enterprise initiatives
Comfort managing timelines, dependencies, and follow‑ups without formal authority
Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage shifting priorities
Familiarity with communications, change management, and technology launches preferred
