Overview
Clover Consulting has a direct client in Grand Rapids, MI in need of a
Logistics Specialist
for a
Contract or Contract-to-Hire
opportunity. This is an On-Site role in Grand Rapids, MI.
Responsibilities
Track and trace full-truckload, less-than-truckload, parcel, and expedited shipments within logistics to ensure on-time delivery.
Communicate with dedicated fleet carriers, contracted carriers, and brokers daily by email and phone.
Review claims, complete reports, and support day-to-day transportation logistics tasks.
Collaborate to ensure dealers and customers receive world-class delivery performance on every shipment.
Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft tools such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Transportation experience dispatching, tendering, shipment tracing, 3rd party brokerage, or related transportation role
Ability to communicate effectively inside and outside the organization with various carriers using email and phone
Preferred
SAP knowledge
Experience using a Transportation Management System
GPS carrier tracking (MacroPoint or similar tool)
Smartsheet
Tableau or similar data visibility tool

Duration:
6-12 Months Contract or Contract-to-Hire
Pay:
25-30/hr W2
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, On-Site
Location:
Grand Rapids, MI (local candidates or those willing to relocate)
Location eligibility:
W2– Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a W2 basis.
