What's the Job?
Track and trace full-truckload, less than truckload, parcel, and expedited shipments within Steelcase logistics to ensure on-time delivery.
Communicate effectively with carriers, brokers, and internal teams via email and phone to coordinate transportation activities.
Review claims, complete reports, and support day‑to‑day transportation logistics operations.
Utilize transportation management systems and GPS carrier tracking tools to monitor shipment status and performance.
Contribute to maintaining high standards of delivery performance, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
What's Needed?
Experience with Microsoft tools such as Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Transportation experience involving dispatching, tendering, shipment tracing, or related roles.
Effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
Helpful: SAP knowledge, transportation management systems, GPS tracking tools, and data visibility platforms like Smartsheet or Tableau.
Ability to work in a dynamic, on‑site environment during normal business hours.
