Requirements
We are seeking a Senior Technical Representative for our client site in Newport, RI (contingent upon award) responsible for providing direction and oversight for the overall effort. The Senior Technical Representative oversees activities in support of the organizational mission, ensures fulfillment of contractual obligations, and assures compliance with relevant state, federal, local, and foundation regulations.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary interface with the COR and the NUWCDIVNPT Leadership
Provide overall program management oversight with contract activities
Ensure the execution of all Supply Order Work requirements, including financial management, logistics, scheduling and office management services
Oversee personnel supporting the program
Monitor contract performance, risk areas and performance metrics
Ensure compliance with Navy reporting requirements and program management processes
Seek, share and assist in institutionalizing best practices
Develop and implement program‑specific process improvement initiatives
Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and implement corrective actions as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Minimum five years of warehouse experience performing material management functions, including material receipt at a warehouse, issue, Care of Supply in Storage (COSIS) and reconciling discrepancies identified during physical inventory
Demonstrated experience supervising a team of at least 10 warehouse employees
Excellent communication, effective leadership, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills
Education or Equivalent
High School diploma or equivalent
Other Requirements
Must possess an active Secret Clearance
Must have and maintain a valid U.S. Driver’s License
Demonstrated experience working in DoD Systems Application and Products (SAP) for Warehouse Management
Ability and willingness to travel as needed for current and future business
