Day-to-day responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operation of the Meat room.
Train staff in proper workflow and sanitation procedures.
Enter batch information into Plex Software and manage inventory daily to ensure product is in stock and accurately counted.
Mix ingredients together and grind blocks of meat into a meat grinder.
Add oils as needed per customer specifications.
Receive in trucks and enter inventory into computer.
Unload frozen meat pallets into freezer for storage using a forklift.
Clean meat room equipment throughout the day and at the end of runs to ensure sanitation is up to standards.
Work with a team to ensure products are safely processed in a timely manner.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 6PM - 2:30AM, providing a stable work-life balance.
