Community Manager (NYC-based / Remote)
Salary: $85K - $99K annually

Let's be real: you're chronically online, your FYP is basically a trend forecast, and you know the next "it girl" before she even hits 10k. As the voice behind the brand you already know how things move in the fast‑paced, modern beauty space. You don't just work in marketing; you build worlds. You know exactly how to take a curated aesthetic and turn it into a living, breathing community. You will be the voice, eyes, and ears of ANFISA—running our digital living room, driving affiliate revenue, and bringing our community IRL across New York City and beyond.

What You’ll Do

The Digital Living Room (Reactive Engagement): You are the reactive voice in the IG and TikTok DMs and comments daily. You are chatting with our community, building genuine rapport, and acting as the ultimate brand bestie in the signature cool, effortless ANFISA voice.

The Concierge Protocol: You can effortlessly switch from brand bestie to professional problem-solver without missing a beat. You are the frontline of our DMs. When logistics glitch or a package is delayed, you flawlessly route the issue to our support team—maintaining a tone that is so chic, empathetic, and reassuringly "handled" that every interaction feels incredibly elevated.

Platform Diversification & Top-of-Funnel Growth: Launch and lead the brand's Substack, providing the written peek behind the curtain. Own our TYB platform, keeping loyalists engaged, and spearheading monthly face‑to‑face community calls. You will be directly responsible for the ongoing growth and analytics of both Substack and TYB, alongside managing our Reddit and Pinterest presence.

Affiliate, Seeding, & Bottom-of-Funnel Sales: Identify and align with ShopMy curators, tastemakers, and TikTok Affiliates. You will manage the execution of gifting campaigns. You are responsible for driving and tracking ShopMy and TikTok Affiliate program growth, monitoring link placements, and ensuring our seeding strategy consistently drives measurable conversion and revenue.

Dual-Funnel Analytics: You live in the numbers just as much as the vibes. You will balance your week by optimizing for both long‑term brand equity (TYB/Substack retention and sentiment) and hard sales metrics (ShopMy/TikTok Affiliate CTR and conversion rates).

Curate IRL Mini‑Moments: Cultivate micro‑community meetups and NYC matcha dates. For larger events, work alongside the Brand Strategy Manager to ideate/execute on brand, procure props, manage custom branding elements, and ensure the aesthetics and logistics are flawless from start to finish.

Expand Our Wellness Footprint: Execute strategic partnerships with the chicest pilates studios, aesthetic recovery spaces, and wellness clubs. We want ANFISA to be a staple everywhere our community works out and unwinds.

Who You Are

You're an NYC local: While this role is remote (and our lab/fulfillment is in WA), you need to be on the ground in New York to host events, scout locations, and tap into the local creator scene.

You're a dual‑threat (Left Brain / Right Brain): You understand that a successful Community Manager in a bootstrapped startup isn't just about good vibes; it's about measurable growth. You can write a gorgeous, editorial Substack piece in the morning, and pivot to analyzing bottom‑line affiliate conversion data in the afternoon.

You're chronically online: You speak fluent TikTok, you know exactly who is topping the ShopMy charts, and you have an encyclopedic knowledge of the digital beauty and wellness space.

You're detail‑obsessed: You know that true luxury is quiet, and it lives in the details. Whether you're tracking an affiliate link, coordinating a shipment with our WA warehouse, or making sure the aesthetic of a meetup is absolutely perfect, zero compromises slip past you.

You're a natural connector: You don't just network; you make friends. You know how to craft the perfect DM that feels warm and authentic, never like a copy‑paste PR pitch.
