Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented culinary professional with a minimum of two (2) years of hands-on kitchen experience. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong knife skills, knowledge of food preparation techniques, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate strong knife skills for accurate and efficient food preparation.
Prepare and cook meals according to provided menus, recipes, and dietary specifications.
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, food prep areas, and equipment.
Assist with food setup, presentation, and service for hospitality events or audit support functions.
Follow portion control guidelines and ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
Support the setup and breakdown of kitchen equipment during travel or mobile deployments.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and other hospitality personnel to ensure smooth service flow.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of culinary or kitchen experience.
Strong knife handling and food preparation skills.
Ability to follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing event needs.
Experience working in kitchens, banquets, or mobile/temporary food setups preferred.
Team-oriented with strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to pass an FDLE Level 2 check.
