Job Description
Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced
Scaffold Estimator
for its
PCI Dallas 114
operations based in
Midlothian, TX . This individual will be responsible for the following duties:
Performing quantitative takeoffs on construction projects
Generating business leads
Ensuring projects are estimated thoroughly and timely
Establish labor productivity for estimate
Understanding of market conditions, including competitive approach, backlog, risk, and other factors for establishing margin percentages
Conducting internal bid reviews with management, operations, and cost controls team members
Creating and maintaining positive relationships with customers and PCI team members
Initiate and participate in customer alignment events
Contract administration for secured projects
Conduct project hand‑offs of secured projects to the Operations Team
Attend job walks
Assist in supporting team bid‑log efforts and customer and project tracking
Assist in providing change order management and billings for each project
Salary range is between $78,900 - $106,000.
Basic Requirements
At least 2 years' experience estimating construction projects
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related field, or 5 years of comparable work experience is required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
Superb customer service skills
Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
Ability to multitask
Ability to build strong relationships with customers
Positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit
Preferred Requirements
Experience with erection and dismantling of scaffold is preferred
Technical knowledge and understanding of systems, frame & brace, shoring, swing stage, and tube & clamp scaffold is preferred
Experience with working with union representatives is preferred
OSHA Certification
Local to the Dallas‑Fort Worth metro area
