Wealth Management Intern (Paid)
Waldron Partners, Alamo, CA, United States
Wealth Management Intern — “Make It Effortless” Quest (In-Office)
Alamo, CA | Part-time or full-time (school-friendly) | In-office | Start Date Immediate
Most firms run on meetings. The best firms run on execution.
At Waldron Partners, our clients are busy, successful, and trusting us with the parts of life that don’t tolerate mistakes: deadlines, paperwork, follow-ups, timing, and details. When our operation is tight, clients feel calm. When it’s not, tiny misses turn into frustration.
This internship exists for one reason: to make the day run clean—so the work that matters most doesn’t get interrupted by the work that should have been handled already.
If you want a role where your reliability becomes a reputation—and your work changes the tempo of an entire firm—welcome to your origin story.
—
The story you’re walking into
Somewhere right now:
a client is waiting on a quick answer
a meeting needs to be perfectly teed up
a follow-up is about to drift
a small detail is one missed step away from becoming a big problem
Your mission is to prevent that.
Not with heroics—by building a system where follow-through is automatic.
—
What you’re really doing here
You’re not “extra hands.” You’re learning to run an operating system that protects focus and creates leverage:
Inbox triage + gatekeeping (reduce back-and-forth, route correctly, keep noise out)
Open loops control panel (a simple tracker that closes items instead of letting them drift)
Calendar protection + meeting readiness (buffers, logistics, reminders, no last-minute chaos)
Client follow-through (timely acknowledgements, clear next steps, clean confirmations)
System improvement (checklists, templates, workflows that get sharper every week)
This is an operations/client experience role—no investment advice, no recommendations, and strong confidentiality standards.
—
How you’ll win (outcomes, not busywork)
In your first 60–90 days, success will look like:
Clients feel taken care of because emails don’t linger and updates are proactive
Meetings run smoothly because logistics are flawless and prep is clean
The team has breathing room because routine work is handled with excellence
Our operation gets sharper because checklists and templates improve week over week
You become trusted—because you do what you said you’d do, every day
If you do this well, you’ll feel it: confidence, momentum, and that rare satisfaction of being indispensable in the best way.
—
You’ll also have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of areas that interest you within the firm—whether that’s accounting, investments, operations, or marketing. You’ll get visibility into how different parts of the business work together, and if you perform, you’ll earn more responsibility over time.
—
The hero profile
You’ll thrive here if you:
Get a weird amount of satisfaction from clean checklists and closed loops
Move fast without getting sloppy
Communicate clearly and professionally under pressure
Are a self-starter who tries to solve before escalating
Take confidentiality seriously and have strong judgment
Want mentorship, momentum, and a real runway—not busywork
—
Requirements
Authorized to work in the United States
—
How to apply
Apply on LinkedIn. If you include a short note, answer this:
What does “follow-through” mean to you in real life—and how do you prove it?
