Compensation and Schedule for the Referral Clerk/Admin Assistant
Referral Clerk/Admin Assistant – Full-time, onsite, $18-$21 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Great opportunities for growth and additional training!

Required Qualifications of the Referral Clerk/Admin Assistant

1+ years of recent medical office, neurology practice, or healthcare call center experience required

Recent medical referrals, prior authorization, and insurance verification experience highly preferred

Familiarity with ICD-10/CPT coding preferred

High school diploma or GED required

Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Responsibilities of the Referral Clerk/Admin Assistant

Coordinate, process, and schedule medical referrals and prior authorizations

Support clinic providers when setting up new patients or transferring patients to new locations

Answer phones

Reschedule appointments and handle recalls

Provide front desk support as needed
