Overview
Ashby builds intuitive tools for hiring at scale. As a Design Engineer, you’ll solve complex design problems and enhance our in‑house design system.
Responsibilities
Redesign mobile web app by interviewing customers, wireframing new flows, and implementing the design system.
Build composable components in the design system, including customizable autocompletes with filters and record creation.
Improve information hierarchy and scannability of candidate assessment views to aid recruiters.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to iterate on product specs and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
Interview Process
Introduction call with hiring manager (15‑30 min, live).
Technical screen with pair programming in our codebase (1 h, live).
Three non‑coding interviews (product thinking, technical design, infrastructure) (3 h 15 min, live).
