Position Overview
As a Business Development Manager (BDM) , you will identify and pursue new business opportunities in the US market, drive company growth, and support the development of a dedicated US team for the HK.Systems group. This is a strategic role with the potential to grow into a VP function.

Key Responsibilities

Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive company growth

Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers

Manage the full business development cycle, from prospecting and proposal creation to contract negotiation and closing

Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams in Germany and the US

Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential sectors

Manage customer care and ensure high levels of client satisfaction

Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships, alliances, and distribution channels

Monitor competitors and industry developments to refine positioning and strategy

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications or related field

Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in B2B environments

Strong ability to structure and close complex deals with multiple stakeholders

Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in relevant industries

Strong knowledge of Med-Tech, Mining, Sensors, Aviation, Semiconductor, or related sectors is a plus

Excellent communication and relationship management skills, German language knowledge and intercultural experience a plus

Strategic thinking and ability to develop growth plans

Willingness to travel as required
