Basic Qualifications

Leadership experience in an aircraft maintenance environment.

At least 6 years overall aircraft maintenance experience with a thorough understanding of Fighter Aircraft Systems and Depot/Field Team Operations.

Experience with Aircraft Scheduling/Records Management, Job/Maintenance Control, Configuration Control, Maintenance Information Systems, Tool and FOD, Training, Safety, Security, Hazardous Waste Management or Supply Chain Management.

Job Description
Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment Team as an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

What You Will Be Doing

Integrate with the host squadron, advising on schedule requirements and production issues for squadron aircraft.

Manage general services, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft and engines to keep them in good mechanical condition and safe for flight.

Create and assign work‑orders in the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and obtain maintenance completion certificates as required.

Supervise multiple maintenance disciplines within an integrated workforce of Civil Service, Military, and Lockheed Martin employees.

Coordinate and direct daily operations with maintenance leads, adjusting priorities and resolving constraints to keep aircraft on schedule.

Manage multiple projects and competing priorities, navigating constraints and project completion dates.

Ensure workforce follows technical instructions, local operating instructions, and all Lockheed Martin Aeronautics instructions.

Advise management on status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure required personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided. Enforce good housekeeping and safety practices.

Work first, second, or third shift as required by customer needs.

Deploy to lead field teams at various locations worldwide for extended periods.

Security & Eligibility

Security clearance required: Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Must be a U.S. citizen.

Desired Skills

F-35 or Fifth-generation aircraft maintenance experience.

Experience with the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).

Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with Field Service Representatives and Maintenance Managers on schedules, aircraft status, and issues.

Effective communication skills across all levels within the OOC-ALC structure (Operations, Maintenance, Logistics Support).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Ability to develop and present formal briefings and presentations.

Ability to develop maintenance plans and procedures.

Ability to develop work schedules and assign tasks.
