Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Engineering Instructor, located in New Orleans, LA. The Engineering Instructor will design and deliver engaging curriculum to equip students with key engineering concepts and hands‑on skills. Key responsibilities include developing lesson plans, providing instruction in technical and professional skills, assessing student progress, and mentoring students for career success. Qualifications
Proficiency in engineering principles, mechanical systems, and tools
Experience in curriculum development and instructional planning
Strong communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills
Analytical thinking and problem‑solving ability
Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in engineering or technical fields
Previous teaching experience, especially in career and technical education, is highly preferred
Relevant industry certifications, credentials, or licensure are a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Education, or a related field
Ability to engage and inspire diverse student populations
