
Construction Foreman

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Foreman to manage and oversee all on‑site construction activities. The ideal candidate will be a self‑motivated working lead who can manage a crew, enforce safety standards, maintain quality control, and ensure efficient project completion while participating in the building construction and restoration process.

Desired Skills and Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and supervise a crew of workers and subcontractors, delegating tasks and ensuring adherence to project schedules and priorities.
Enforce all safety protocols, company policies, and OSHA guidelines. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
Develop and manage daily and weekly construction schedules. Coordinate material and equipment deliveries to prevent delays and maximize productivity.
Inspect work in progress and completed tasks to ensure high‑quality craftsmanship and compliance with blueprints, drawings, specifications, and building codes.
Address and resolve any on‑site challenges, conflicts, or unexpected issues with equipment, materials, or personnel quickly and efficiently.
Serve as the main point of contact with subcontractors, inspectors, and clients. Maintain accurate daily reports, including progress, time sheets, and safety documentation.
Perform grinding, tuckpointing, caulking, brick and stone work, and/or other masonry tasks. Have the ability to safely rig swing staging, erect scaffolding, and operate equipment.
Qualifications and Requirements
Proven experience as a construction foreman or in a similar supervisory role, typically a minimum of 3‑5 years.
In‑depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, methods, and building codes.
Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and project specifications.
Strong leadership, organizational, and time‑management skills to motivate a diverse team and drive projects to completion.
Active OSHA certification (OSHA 30‑hour preferred) and First Aid/CPR training are highly desirable.
Physical stamina to perform strenuous physical labor, lift heavy objects, and work in varying weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (may be required).
Must be able to travel 50‑75% of the time in client markets.
