
Carpentry Foreman / Co- Owner

Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate 1-4 crew members in daily duties
Perform rough and finish carpentry with crew on Commercial and Agricultural projects
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans
Ensure work is completed according to project specifications, schedules, and budgets
Monitor and enforce safety protocols and regulations
Work with sub-contractors to coordinate schedules and work areas
Train and mentor carpentry crew members
Coordinate with other trades and project managers to ensure smooth workflow
Manage inventory of materials and equipment
Track and report work progress to project managers
Efficiently work in a fast paced environment with detailed workmanship
Address any issues or conflicts that arise during construction
Requirements
Proven experience in the construction industry
Minimum 5 years construction experience (preferred)
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction practices
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
Ability to lift heavy objects regularly (0-50 lbs ground to shoulder, 0-80 lbs ground to carry height)
Ability to walk, stand, kneel, stoop, and bend for long periods of time while performing physical labor
Ability to operate hand/power tools and equipment
Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and a focus on quality
Ability to travel within the state of Wisconsin
Must have a valid driver's license
