Position
Assistant Service Manager / Assistant Maintenance Supervisor
is the right-hand person to the Service Manager and is responsible for assisting in maintenance operations of the property. The position also has the opportunity to earn monthly bonuses.
Responsibilities
Assist in oversight of all work associated with the upkeep and maintenance of the building and grounds.
Physically walk and inspect the property on a regular basis, including vacant units. Conduct property inspections, including move-in, housekeeping, and grounds to assure adherence to established standards.
Ensure service requests are responded to within 24 hours and communicate with the resident when the issue cannot be resolved in a timely manner.
Assist in oversight of maintenance of the grounds, trash container areas, and common areas.
Be available as needed for emergency calls and respond according to GoldOller’s policy on after-hour emergencies.
Manage regular maintenance of the building exteriors, interiors, and common areas.
Full duties will be discussed during the interview process.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of two years of multifamily housing maintenance experience in residential property management.
Physical: Ability to lift, push and pull and carry up to 80 pounds; frequent standing, walking, squatting, reaching, stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, balancing and carrying.
Valid driver’s license and reliable, personal automobile for local travel.
Possession of tools needed to perform routine maintenance tasks.
Formal training or experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, refurbishing.
EPA/HVAC Certification required.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and/or Certified Apartment Maintenance Tech (CAMT) preferred.
Able to work weekends, as needed; travel to other sites and out of state, as needed.
