Data Analyst (Pyspark and SQL)

**About the role**
As a Data Analyst (Pyspark and SQL), you will make an impact by designing and delivering scalable, cloud‑based analytics and data engineering solutions that support high‑demand, enterprise applications. You will be a valued member of Cognizant's **Digital Engineering** team and work closely with product managers, technical leads, designers, and client stakeholders to deliver reliable, high‑quality software that drives business value.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Design and implement effective Analytics solutions and models that are deployed in Cloud platforms (Azure/GCP).
+ Examine business requirements and provide solutions. Interact with TPM, Tech Lead and should be able to lead the conversation.
+ Build the application based on business requirement by following Industry coding standards along with writing unit testcases and meet or exceed coverage % defined by the project.
+ Make sure the features built are successfully tested and deployed to production.
+ Implement proper monitoring solutions that are recommended by the Client.
+ Understand and document the design, service specifications that are built for the application. Guidance to developers in preparing functional/technical specs.

**What you need to have to be considered**
+ **6 to 7+ years of experience in Pyspark is must ,** SCALA, Advanced SQL, Airflow pipelines, Visual Reports like PowerBi, looker studio and any Cloud Platform (GCP is +).
+ Strong Experience in SQL (BQ is +)
+ Strong Experience in Python
+ Hands on experience or Knowledge in designing Large Scale application/High Volume experience would be good
**These will help you stand out**
+ Experience with **Google BigQuery**
+ Knowledge of **Scala**
+ Experience with visualization tools such as **Power BI** or **Looker Studio**
+ Exposure to enterprise‑scale data platforms and production‑grade analytics systems

**Compensation**
The annual salary for this position ranges from **$68,422 to $131,500** , depending on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, subject to performance and applicable plan terms.
