Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC/R systems, including:
Rooftop units (RTUs)
Boilers and chillers
CRAC units and refrigeration systems
VAV/VVT and control systems
Kitchen refrigeration and hot-side equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Work independently in the field with minimal supervision
Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and internal teams
Provide occasional mentorship and guidance to junior technicians
Qualifications
6+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Experience with:
RTUs, mini splits, chillers, boilers
Controls and building systems
Refrigeration and kitchen equipment
EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)
NATE Certification (preferred)
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs
Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and varying weather conditions
Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and kneeling
Work Environment
Commercial job sites and mechanical rooms
Exposure to high-voltage systems and moving equipment
Work in loud environments and extreme temperatures
Additional Details
Full-time role (40+ hours/week guaranteed)
Limited overnight travel
Overtime and weekend work may be required
