EHC is currently looking for a Journeyman Electrician in the Houston Area
Core Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
Run wiring, conduit, and electrical panels
Inspect electrical components (transformers, circuit breakers, etc.)
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs
Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (like the National Electrical Code)
Test systems using tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes
Typical Daily Tasks
Installing outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures
Connecting wiring to circuit breakers and transformers
Diagnosing power failures or faulty systems
Performing routine maintenance checks
Working with hand tools and power tools
Coordinating with contractors, engineers, or construction teams
