RTM Assembler – Composite Manufacturing Technician
Position Overview
We are currently looking for an RTM Assembler to join a growing manufacturing team that produces composite pump components using Resin Transfer Molding (RTM). In this role, you will help prepare molds, load fiberglass materials, inject resin, and assemble finished components according to engineering specifications. This is a hands‑on position ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, manufacturing equipment, and detailed production work.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare molds for production by cleaning them and applying release agents
Load fiberglass or composite materials into molds
Position reinforcement materials before the molding process begins
Inject rein into molds using RTM equipment
Monitor the curing process to ensure materials are set properly
Remove finished parts from molds once curing is complete
Perform post‑processing work such as sanding, grinding, and finishing
Remove excess material, burs, or imperfections using hand or power tools
Assemble composite components based on technical drawings and instructions
Perform basic visual inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards
Record production data and report any issues
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
Support team members when needed
Basic Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with composite materials or RTM manufacturing
Ability to read and follow technical drawings or work instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality
Basic mechanical skills
Experience using hand tools and power tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience
Technical training related to manufacturing or composites
Experience working with fiberglass or composite molding
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
