Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Forensic Engineer. In this role, the Forensic Engineer will be responsible for analyzing and assessing structural damage caused by storms, water, vandalism, or failure. Key day-to-day responsibilities include conducting forensic investigations, performing failure analyses, documenting findings in detailed reports, and collaborating with clients to deliver accurate, unbiased assessments. Additionally, the Forensic Engineer may serve as an expert witness as part of legal proceedings when required.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Forensic Analysis, Forensic Engineering, and Failure Analysis
Strong background in Structural Engineering principles and practices
Excellent Analytical Skills to assess causes and effects of structural failures
Attention to detail and ability to create comprehensive, clear, and professional investigative reports
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with engineering analysis tools and methodologies
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field
Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure preferred
Relevant experience in forensic engineering or structural analysis is a strong advantage
