Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sign Shop Production person located in Shelbytwp, MI. The Production specialist will oversee daily sign production activities, ensuring that projects meet quality standards, deadlines, and company specifications. Responsibilities include managing production schedules, maintaining equipment, and ensuring workplace safety. The Production fabricator will also collaborate with sales and design teams to coordinate project workflows and optimize efficiency.
Qualifications
1 to 3 years hands on experience in a sign shop production, scheduling, and overseeing workflows in a manufacturing or print shop environment
1 to 3 years technical skills in sign manufacturing, including application of printing, laminating, finishing, vinyl application and installation processes
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with equipment maintenance and ensuring workplace safety compliance. Experience with wide format printers like HP 360, Graphtec plotter
Familiarity with graphic design software and digital printing processes is an advantage
Excellent communication and customer service skills to coordinate between team members and clients
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications or training in sign production is preferred
